WORKSHOPS
New workshops starting in January 2026
in Whitstable and Canterbury.

'SIP AND CREATE' EVENING ART EVENT

Join us for a fun evening at Tea and Times in Whitstable, Kent.

Commencing on Tuesday 27th January and continuing throughout the year.

A fun and social, painting evening for adults. The evening will be run by ourselves, to create your own finished artwork using acrylics on canvas.

Complimentary glass of wine or juice, in the heart of Whitstable.

'South Quay Shed'- Whitstable Harbour

The workshops will be held on a Tuesday morning-10.00am - 1.00pm

A series of 4 week workshops:

  • Introduction to pencil and charcoal

  • Introduction to acrylics

  • Introduction to watercolour

  • Introduction to watercolour pencils/aqua pens

  • Introduction to 3D 

Each of these workshops will explore nature and the sea. Working from objects, supplied references and the location.

HOME TUITION 

 

Tuition is designed around individual interests.

 

Colour for beginnings

Do you struggle mixing colours for portraits, landscapes or still-life? ... This course will provide an introduction on colour theory and the use of colour in art. You will receive expert guidance on the application of paint, pastel and collage. 

Print-Making

Would you like to learn more about printing? ... Beginning with mono-print and Lino, the course will provide expert guidance on these methods of printing, that will produce exciting and unique prints. 

Sculpture

Would you like to learn new methods on how to construct sculptures using paper, card, plaster, wire or clay? ... Guidance provided in all methods of 3D design, through a range of exciting projects.

Drawing

 

Drawing classes created for beginners and improvers. The courses will provide guidance on a full range of key skills; mark-making, unitary measurement, perspective, negative space.

After-School Art Classes

Are you looking for a class that will combine art with fun? ... We have designed fun activities in drawing, paint, printing, collage and model making. Offering guidance for those building a portfolio at GCSE, A-level, or International Baccalaureate levels, and for university applications.

Adult Art Classes

Art classes created for beginners and improvers. The courses will provide guidance on a full range of key skills in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

All courses are taught by both experienced tutors; Cathy and Helen, providing expert guidance and support.
